Our Founding Story
AG Drives was founded by Robert “Robby” Burton Jr. and Zachary Earley with a simple belief: customers deserve driveline components built by people who understand the work, not just the part numbers.
Robby grew up around the driveline industry, continuing a family legacy that began in 1979. From an early age, he learned that quality is earned through precision, craftsmanship, and doing the job right the first time. Over the years, he developed extensive experience in driveline manufacturing, engineering, and production, building a reputation for solving complex driveline challenges.
Zach brought a complementary skill set rooted in operations, production management, and customer execution. He understood that manufacturing excellence depends not only on quality products, but also on efficient processes, dependable delivery, and strong customer relationships. His ability to organize operations and keep production moving helped transform ideas into reliable results.
Together, they recognized an opportunity to build a company focused on responsiveness, technical expertise, and uncompromising quality. Rather than becoming another large manufacturer, they chose to build a business where customers could speak directly with the people designing, manufacturing, and supporting their driveline solutions.
Founded in 2011, AG Drives combines third-generation driveline knowledge with modern manufacturing practices. Every driveshaft, component, and assembly reflects the founders’ commitment to precision, reliability, and long-term customer partnerships.
